Donatella Amos  Donna_1041-300x200

Donatella our new Executive Officer and has over 14 years experience managing volunteer programs. Her previous position was Director of Volunteer Services at a large hospital involving over 500 hospital and community based volunteers.

Donatella has a good understanding of volunteerism locally, in Australia and overseas. She is held in high regard within the volunteer sector and has been on the Board of AAMoV (formerly AAVA), the national professional association for volunteer managers; and a number of other Not for Profit Boards.

Donatella was included in the inaugural SA Honour Roll, in the 2009, 2010, 2011 Who’s Who of Australian Women and received a Certificate of Recognition from AAVA for her work in the sector.

She holds qualifications in Community Sector Management, training and assessment and volunteer program management, including a Vocational Graduate Certificate of Management (Learning); Cert. IV TAE.

Ned Hanic 

Ned is newly appointed NV Education and Training Services Manager (NVETS) with Northern Volunteering SA.
He is a Registered Teacher in South Australia, specialising in PE to middle and high school students, and also holds Bachelor of Adult and Vocations Education, Bachelor of Sport Science, Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Certificate IV in TAE 40110 – including Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) unit, is a Families SA accredited and approved Child Safe Environment (CSE) trainer, and has in particular worked in the Adult Education and Training field since 2005. He has held a number of management level positions with a number of community organisations.
He has had an extensive experience in Vocational, Education and Training (VET) sector, including but not limited to, registering/renewing organisation as an RTO, delivering/assessing training to all types of audience, unpacking and aligning curriculums and training packages, designing new and innovative training programs, RTO compliance in line with ASQA Standards for RTOs 2015, convener of a number of internal and external reference groups, identifying and implementing future opportunities for business development and growth, and is a member of South Australian Council for Adult Literacy (SACAL).

Pauleen Fennel 

Pauleen has over 30 years’ experience working in community services as a social worker, counsellor, community educator and trainer. She has a Bachelor of Social Work, Post Graduate Diplomas in Adult Education and Counselling and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Pauleen worked as a social worker with adults living with mental illness and also with adults and children affected by violence and abuse.
Pauleen has worked for various non-government community services and a university as an educator and trainer delivering learning and development activities to professional staff, managers and volunteers.
These learning activities have included developing knowledge in relation to mental health, domestic violence and child abuse and developing counselling and communication skills. Pauleen has also developed and delivered nationally recognised qualifications including a diploma in counselling and group work.
At NVSA/NVETS Pauleen delivers Mental Health First Aid, Child Safe Environments, Accidental Counselling, Professional Boundaries and Loss and Grief.
